With the continuous development of science and technology and the deepening of people's environmental awareness, the treatment of various sediment laden rivers, the lining of water supply pipes and channels, the prevention and control of pollution in rivers, lakes, and seaports, as well as the construction of embankments and slope protection projects, will inevitably become the focus of government attention. However, currently almost all slope protection projects do not use special brick materials, relying solely on large stones and cut materials, which is not a stable long-term solution.
Therefore, three new products have been launched: hydraulic slope protection bricks, seawall bricks, and riverbank bricks. Among them, slope protection bricks are mainly used to protect riverbanks such as coasts, lakes, and rivers, and their flexible pavement can be applied to various terrain conditions. Each hydraulic slope protection brick is not fixed by four interlocking blocks directly connected to it, but by six interlocking blocks surrounding it. With the growth of vegetation at brick holes and joints, the durability and stability of the road surface will be further enhanced. The opening serves both as a drainage outlet for water seepage and as a means of increasing vegetation and beautifying the environment.
According to reports, there is a high market demand for hydraulic slope protection bricks, but compared to the northern regions, the frequency of floods in the southern regions is not high, and the market is not very familiar with slope protection bricks. Therefore, it will take some time to open up the market and deepen people's understanding. In addition, in order to solve the problem of ensuring project quality and reducing repetitive maintenance costs for construction units, it will also be launched into the market in response to social demand.
After laying hydraulic slope protection bricks, filling the gaps with graded crushed stones can greatly improve the stability of the pavement system. It provides convenience for protecting and beautifying the environment and has broad development prospects.
